Coldform manufactures custom designed fasteners and components for a variety
of OEM products for industries which include automotive sub-components, major
appliances, small appliances, kitchen utensils, recreational products, power
and hand tools, electrical and electronic controls, and many, many more! This
includes fasteners, barrelnuts, screws, rivets, specialty fasteners, and
numerous cold-formed components. Trademarked products include: Barrelnuts,
Pushlok, Plastech, and Magnacore (relay cores). Coldform is ISO 9002 certified
and QS 9000 by December 2000!
ComSi has been an integral part of the Coldform team since 1982, providing the
information systems infrastructure that supports all aspects of the business. We
have jointly created and continuously improve a comprehensive custom application
integrating order processing, shop orders, production scheduling, subcontractor
production, purchasing, raw material inventory, quality control, shipping, and
accounting. We installed and support the 30-user Windows NT network underlying
our application (written in APL), in addition to managing auxiliary operations
such as bar-coding, Quickbooks, remote access, and EDI.
