The smaller manufacturing firm today faces many more challenges than most
businesses. Requirements from larger customers and suppliers, advancements
in shop floor technologies, quality certifications, and increasingly competitive
markets that require better cost control are just a few of the demands that
compel manufacturers to improve their business technologies. Our focus has been
on window and cabinet manufacturers that require order entry, inventory, and complex
manufacturing bill-of-material systems, as well as general accounting systems. We
have implemented interfaces to CNC routers and saws, bar-code printing in shipping
departments, bar-code readers on the factory floor for tracking, complex production
scheduling routines and EDI interfaces with suppliers and customers. Most of our
manufacturing clients are running our custom developed application that allows them
to add these new interfaces and technologies quickly.
